We’re searching for a Sales Executive to join our VolunteerHub business unit, a premium SaaS volunteer management system trusted by nonprofits to streamline operations and achieve their missions.
This role is ideal for individuals passionate about consultative selling, solving complex problems, and contributing to the success of nonprofits. As a Sales Executive, you’ll engage nonprofit leaders, navigate multifaceted decision-making processes, and deliver measurable outcomes through VolunteerHub.
What You’ll Do
- Engage in Consultative Selling: Build meaningful relationships with nonprofit leaders, conducting deep discovery to understand their challenges and collaboratively align VolunteerHub’s solutions with their goals. Act as a key connector between nonprofits, BetterGood’s internal teams, and our shared mission of delivering exceptional value and impact. Partner with clients to measure and articulate the outcomes VolunteerHub delivers.
- Navigate Complex Decision Processes: Guide nonprofit stakeholders through a structured decision-making process, building consensus among diverse roles such as executive directors, program managers, and IT leaders.
- Learn and Adapt Continuously: Use insights from client interactions and sales activities to refine your approach, contributing to ongoing learning and improvement across the sales process.
- Leverage Tools and Data: Utilize systems like HubSpot and ZoomInfo to develop a robust sales pipeline, document customer insights, and drive data-informed decisions.
What You Bring
- Consultative Selling Expertise: Experience or interest in SaaS or software sales, with a demonstrable ability to engage in diagnostic, value-based conversations.
- Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to diagnose root causes and align technology solutions with business challenges.
- Customer Empathy: A passion for helping nonprofits achieve their missions, with the ability to connect with diverse stakeholders.
- Learning and Adaptability: A desire to continuously improve professionally, embracing variation and feedback as opportunities for growth.
- Experience with Technology: Comfortable using CRM tools like HubSpot and research platforms like ZoomInfo, with a willingness to learn new systems as needed.
- Nonprofit Knowledge (Preferred): Experience working directly with or volunteering for nonprofit organizations is a plus.
